Volunteers
The role of volunteers
Volunteers will help plan the Conference, coordinate Toronto Local Host programme activities, greet visiting delegates, assist with registration, act as guides during the Conference, staff the Global Village and cultural activities, and perform other crucial tasks. Volunteers will receive training and support from Toronto Local Host Secretariat volunteer coordinators.
Volunteers from other countries

Persons from countries other than Canada seeking to volunteer at AIDS 2006 will be required to meet Canadian customs and immigration requirements for visitors (visit the Travelling to Canada page to see the Travel Logistics and Tours section).

The IAS is not able to offer any financial assistance for overseas volunteers.
How to Volunteer
The success of AIDS 2006 depends heavily on the support of approximately 1000 volunteers working with IAS and the Toronto Local Host.

The Volunteer Programme is now closed for applications.

Youth volunteers under 18, please read the requirements on the Youth page.
